Install Pinnacle Studio Plus Titanium Edition 10.5 on Vista Beta 2
I tried (many times) to install Studio Plus Titanium Edition 10.5 on my Windows Vista Beta 2 machine. It continually gave me an error suggesting I was trying to install on an unsupported OS version. I even tried the Compatibility tool in the control panel -- all the different options and combinations, no go.
Finally, I tried opening up the install CD with Windows Explorer. I selected the setup.exe file and then righted clicked on the file to choose the properties option. I changed the parameters for executing the file to XP compatibility mode (like I did using Compatibility tool) and to Run this program as an administrator. The difference between this approach and using the Compatibility tool was in the results – using this method it installed without a hiccup.
Happy installing!

Based on what I can tell, there is a difference in how Vista executives compatibility mode, depending your approach. I hope this is helpful.
